Combating Imposter Syndrome
Imposter syndrome is a concept describing individuals who are marked by an inability to internalize their accomplishments and a persistent fear of being exposed as a "fraud."
Join us as Heather Pownall, Director for Business Development for the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) walks us through what imposter syndrome is and how to tackle it in your professional life. Heather is passionate about helping people and organizations learn and grow. She currently leads a team that helps companies develop professional development programs for their staff. She enjoys hiking and traveling all over the world and with that, brings her unique skill-set to this Chamber event.
"I have written eleven books, but each time I think, 'uh oh, they're going to find out now. I've run a game on everybody, and they're going to find me out." - Maya Angelou
